Hawthorne Cottage in Blackheath offers self-catering short-term rental accommodation in a quiet location just a short drive from Blackheath shops, pub, restaurants and the exquisite bushwalks through the national park.
The Blue Mountains is a unique world heritage area and Blackheath is arguably the most village- like and unspoilt town in the mountains.
Hawthorne Cottage is easygoing, warm and charming, set on expansive grounds with exquisite gardens in a quiet street. The cottage has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second room a double and the third has a single and a set of king single bunks. The old chapel living area has a double sofa bed for extra guests. With open plan kitchen, living and dining area there is plenty of room to relax.
TV in open plan living is brand new and takes USB plug in so bring your TV shows and Movies on USB.
Guests have exclusive access to entire home and grounds.
Landlords will be able to offer help and advice at all times via phone or in person if needed.
Otherwise guests have complete privacy.

The house is about 2 km from the station and shops. It is a lovely walk approx. 20 - 30 mins if you'd like to explore the area.
Otherwise an easy drive or cycle 3 mins drive/ 15 min cycle.
You can reach Blackheath by train or bus however given the location of the house and the nature of available activities, a car would be most convenient.

There are antiques and lovely rugs and pictures on the premises, so it needs to be treated with care and respect.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property, even outside.
Events or parties also prohibited.
Please note when bringing children supervision is necessary at all times on the property. The grounds are large with ponds, water features and sculptures which could be hazardous for children.
The house and property are fine for older children but we discourage young children under 6 years.
The extensive grounds are adorned with outdoor sculptures, antique benches and old dairy sheds. You're encouraged to explore your surroundings, just be mindful and take care.
Pets are allowed but not cats please. Please let us know what type of pet you'll be bringing. Please consider when bringing your pet that large kangaroos frequently come onto the property.
